What is Angostura Bitters? Angostura bitters is a black liquid made of sugar, water, alcohol, natural aromas, herbs and spices. This product does not have any artificial colours at all. The colours are from the caramel and botanicals/gentian (natural). Alcohol content is 44.7%
Angostura Bitters is manufactured in Trinidad And Tobago. The distillery is located on the eastern main road, Laventille, Trinidad. The bottle cover is yellow and the label is white and large with an unfinished look. You will find this product in the alcohol section of any grocery store.
Many bartenders who are familiar with this product know that Angostura Bitters is a great addition to almost all cocktails. And if you did not know, you now know that you can also good to add a few drops to your food while cooking.
A few drops of this angostura bitters is great when added to a glass of water to ease any stomach discomfort. Be careful not to add too much as it can lower your blood pressure.
