Perfect Homemade Bread Recipe | No Eggs No Milk

I love it when my bread comes out perfect.  So in this blog post I share with you my perfect homemade bread recipe.  I make my bread by hand and not with a bread maker but of course you can use a bread maker.

Making bread is time consuming, the dough needs time to rest and rise properly.

Ingredients
4 cups of all purpose flour 1 tablespoon yeast 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons of coconut oil or canola oil 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Method
Put all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix together well. Add the butter and mix together with dry ingredients.

Gradually pour in the water and use your hands to form the ingredients into a dough. Knead the dough until nice and smooth.

Cover with a damp cloth or paper towel and set aside for a few minutes - like 20-25 minutes.

The dough would have doubled in size after that time. Use your fist and punch down the dough.

Separate into two (you can do so using a dough cutter) and knead each piece of dough. Grease two bread pans with some non stick spray or butter. Fold each piece of dough into a cylinder like shape and place into the greased bread pan.

Set aside and cover with a piece of damp cloth or paper towel. Allow the dough to rise and fill up the bread pans. Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius). Put the bread pans in the oven and allow the bread to bake for 25-30 minutes - until golden brown. Enjoy!!!

Ok, okay I know you are excited to cut a slice of your hot homemade bread but allow it to cool a bit before cutting a slice.  I notice that when I cut the bread when it is fresh out of the oven, the bread gets squeezed up.  So I wait until then are cooled down, place one of the breads on a cutting board and then I cut the bread with a bread knife.
