Lentil Peas Patties Recipe |:| Vegetarian and Vegan Recipe

Lentil Peas Patties recipe

1 cup lentil peas
1 grated carrot
3 garlic cloves grated
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper sauce (optional) - this will make the patties a bit spicy
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
basil leaves finely chopped
2 sticks of chive finely chopped

Put lentil peas in a pot with about 3 cups of water.  Allow the water to boil and the peas to cook and get nice and tender.  this should take about 20 minutes.

When almost all the water has boiled down, turn off the stove and add the carrot, garlic, onion, salt, basil leaves and chive.  Mix together well.

Add the flour and mix together.

Place about a tablespoon of the mixture into the palm of your hand and form into a circular shape and set aside in a plate.  Continue this process until all the mixture has been used up.

Add some oil to a frying pan.  When the oil is hot, put the patties into the frying pan and allow each side to get golden brown.

Remove from the frying and place into a plate lined with paper towel.  Enjoy!!!
